When did it start - TIPS unique independent testing scheme was set up in 2007 following requests from suppliers for TIPS to review and test their products.

Who does it - All parent testers take part on a strictly voluntary basis, making the TIPS Award Scheme the most impartial testing programme in the baby and toddler market sector.

What is tested - Only products that meet TIPS stringent criteria will be tested through the Award Scheme.
